FoundryStack Labs LLC ("FoundryStack Labs", "we", "us", or "our") is a Delaware software company that operates Parlo (parlo.school). This Privacy Policy covers data collected on this corporate website (foundrystacklabs.com) only.

We take privacy seriously. It is the foundation of every product we build.

This site (foundrystacklabs.com) is a corporate information website. We collect very little personal information:
- Contact form submissions: When you use the contact form, your name, email address, subject, and message are sent directly to our email via your local mail client (mailto). We do not store this data on any server.
- Email correspondence: If you email us at admin@foundrystacklabs.com, we retain that correspondence in our inbox to respond to your inquiry.
- Server logs: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically log standard technical data - IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps - for security and performance purposes. This data is not linked to any personal identity.
4. Our products and their data practices
FoundryStack Labs operates Parlo (parlo.school), an AI teaching assistant for qualified teachers. Parlo is designed to comply with UK GDPR and EU GDPR. FoundryStack Labs LLC is registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a data controller for Parlo. ICO registration reference: ZC172833.
Key data practices for Parlo:
- Conversation content is processed to generate AI responses and is not written to Parlo's database. After your session ends, messages are gone from Parlo's systems.
- Your lessons and teaching content are never used to train any AI model - ours or our AI provider's.
- Parlo uses Anthropic PBC (Claude AI) to generate responses. Anthropic may retain API request data for up to 30 days for safety monitoring, but does not train its models on API inputs or outputs by default.
- Account data (name, email), teaching profile, and usage data are retained only as necessary to provide the service.
- You can delete your account and all associated data at any time - deletion is processed within 30 days.
- Parlo does not sell personal data or share it with advertisers.
5. GDPR and UK GDPR
FoundryStack Labs LLC is the data controller for personal data processed via Parlo in connection with UK GDPR and EU GDPR. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Registration reference: ZC172833. This can be verified at ico.org.uk.
For Parlo users in the UK or EU, your data is processed on the following legal bases:
- Contract: To provide the Parlo service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests: For security, fraud prevention, and usage quota tracking - where these interests do not override your rights.
This corporate website (foundrystacklabs.com) processes no personal data that would require GDPR legal basis assessment beyond the minimal contact form and server log data described above.
6. How we use your information
We use information only to:

10. Children's privacy
This corporate website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Parlo (parlo.school) is designed for qualified teachers and professional educators aged 18 or over. It must not be used directly by students. If you believe a child has accessed Parlo inappropriately, please contact us immediately at admin@foundrystacklabs.com.
